Move a store's data into another Shopify store, with its owner's approval.

Request exactly what you need, let the other store decide what to share, then copy products, customers, orders, menus, translations, themes and custom data with every link between them intact.

Records turn green as they land. A red card keeps Shopify's exact error so you can fix it and retry.

How a copy works

  1. Request the data

In the store that needs the data, enter the other store's domain and tick what you need: products, customers, orders, content, custom data and more. Its admin gets an email.

  2. The owner approves

The sending store reviews the request and unticks anything it won't share. Nothing can be read until it approves, and access can be revoked at any time.

  3. Copy what you choose

Browse the approved data, select records or copy everything of a type. The app copies in dependency order, so products land in their collections and orders keep their customers.

29 kinds of data, copied in the right order

Locations and custom data definitions go first and themes go last, so everything has something to point at. Metafields travel with the records they belong to.

You decide how the data lands

The receiving store chooses, once, how copies behave. The panel shows the defaults, which suit most moves. Every option is explained in the app's guide.

Not copied, by design

  • Subscription plans, which only the subscription app that bills them can create
  • Saved payment cards and customer passwords
  • Data that lives in other apps, such as reviews and loyalty points
  • Payment, tax and checkout settings, staff accounts and domains

Gift cards are reissued with new codes, because Shopify never reveals the old ones.

Built to be trusted with a live store

Permission first
Each data type needs the sending store's approval, and approvals can be narrowed or revoked later.
Links survive the move
Every copied record is mapped to its new ID, so variants, metafield references, discounts and orders still point at the right things.
No duplicates
Records that were already copied are skipped, and existing matches in the receiving store are linked instead of recreated.
Quiet imports
Historic orders are imported without charging customers, sending receipts or changing inventory.
Errors you can act on
A failed record shows the field Shopify rejected and the exact data that was sent, with a one-click retry.
Nothing goes live by surprise
Copied themes and languages stay unpublished, and orders never notify customers, until you decide otherwise.
Within Shopify's limits
Copies run in the background at the pace Shopify allows, and access tokens are encrypted at rest.
